Expertise de recherche

Notre équipe de recherche utilise l'embryon du nématode Caenorhabditis elegans comme modèle pour comprendre comment les phénomènes de polarisation cellulaire peuvent conduire à la division cellulaire asymétrique et à la spécification de la diversité cellulaire. Étant donné que la perte de polarité cellulaire peut mener au développement de métastases dans certaines conditions, ce travail permettra de mieux comprendre les voies de signalisation moléculaires impliquées dans ce processus. De plus, la polarité cellulaire étant cruciale pour la division de tous les types de cellules souches, ce travail procurera de nouvelles informations sur les mécanismes de renouvellement et de régénération cellulaires.
