Expertise de recherche
L'expertise développée par Pre Marie-France Marin, au cours de ses études doctorales, porte sur l'impact du stress et des hormones de stress sur la modulation des mémoires émotionnelles négatives. Lors d'une formation postdoctorale de 4 ans, elle a approfondi ses connaissances sur la modulation des processus mnésiques, avec un accent particulier sur les mémoires liées à la peur et les mémoires traumatiques. Depuis septembre 2016, elle dirige son laboratoire de recherche au sein du Centre de recherche de l’Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal. Les travaux de son équipe de recherche visent à mieux comprendre les facteurs environnementaux et biologiques qui influencent la formation des mémoires liées à la peur et des mémoires de sécurité. Ces travaux ont pour objectif de reconnaître les mécanismes qui accroissent la vulnérabilité face au développement du trouble de stress post-traumatique et des troubles anxieux.
Biographie
Marie-France Marin est docteure en neurosciences et chercheuse. Ses travaux de recherche portent principalement sur la neurobiologie des mémoires négatives et traumatiques.
