Le docteur Robert Durand a obtenu son diplôme de la Faculté de médecine dentaire de l’Université de Montréal en 2002. Il a ensuite étudié pour une année à l’Université de Rochester dans l’état de New York afin d’obtenir un certificat de résidence multidisciplinaire et 3 ans à l’Université du Minnesota à Minneapolis où il a obtenu son certificat de spécialiste en parodontie et une maîtrise en sciences. Après avoir obtenu son diplôme, il a travaillé 2 ans en bureau privé à Saint Paul, Minnesota pour ensuite revenir au Québec en 2008. Il possède les titres de « Fellow » du Collège Royal des Chirurgiens Dentistes du Canada et de « Diplomate » de l’American Board of Periodontology. Il est présentement professeur adjoint à la Faculté de médecine dentaire de l’Université de Montréal et examinateur pour le Collège Royal des Chirurgiens Dentistes du Canada pour la spécialité en parodontie.
