Mes travaux de recherche s’articulent autour de différents thèmes en lien avec les relations de couple, tant chez la population générale que chez des populations cliniques. En premier lieu, la théorie de l’attachement adulte informe plusieurs de mes projets. En m’inspirant de ce modèle théorique, je vise à examiner les liens étroits qui unissent l’attachement, le soutien conjugal et la sexualité pour mieux comprendre les dynamiques de fonctionnement conjugal chez diverses populations de couple. En deuxième lieu, je m’intéresse tout particulièrement à l’infertilité. Mes travaux visent à 1) évaluer les impacts de ce problème dans les sphères psychologique, conjugale et sexuelle, 2) évaluer les besoins spécifiques des couples suivis en traitements de fertilité, et 3) développer des interventions visant à optimiser le bien-être de ces couples. Enfin, la violence conjugale et la gestion du stress dyadique figurent également parmi mes champs d’intérêts.
