Research expertise

Son domaine d'expertise porte sur l'impact de la nutrition sur la longévité en santé, en particulier sur la santé musculaire et cérébrale. Elle intègre des technologies innovantes telles que la métabolomique, la protéomique et les applications mobiles pour mieux comprendre les mécanismes sous-jacents et pour identifier des biomarqueurs nutritionnels. Son objectif est de contribuer au développement de stratégies nutritionnelles personnalisées pour promouvoir la santé à long terme et prévenir les maladies liées au vieillissement. Ses travaux englobent des études épidémiologiques traditionnelles, intégrant la métabolomique et la protéomique plasmatiques et cérébrales, des essais d'intervention, ainsi que des études de validation.

Biography

Dre Anne-Julie Tessier est Professeure adjointe au Département de nutrition de l'Université de Montréal, chercheuse au Centre ÉPIC de l'Institut de cardiologie de Montréal et chercheuse invitée à la Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Nutritionniste-diététiste (membre de l'ODNQ), elle a obtenu son doctorat en nutrition humaine à l'Université McGill, suivi d'une formation postdoctorale soutenue par les IRSC (Instituts de recherche en santé du Canada) et d'un poste de chercheuse associée à la Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
