CerebrUM | Pôle en neuropsychologie et neuroscience cognitive et computationnelle
Profile
About us
CerebrUM is a group of researchers from Université de Montréal dedicated to neuropsychology and cognitive and computational neuroscience.
To facilitate scientific exchanges and stimulate creativity, the CerebrUM will soon provide its members with the NeuroBuro, a collaborative workspace located at the heart of the Department of Psychology. This space is designed to encourage research projects, co-creation, and interdisciplinary training.
Our objectives
-
Unite Leading Forces in Neuropsychology and Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience
The goal is to accelerate scientific work at the interface of these disciplines. This collaboration is realized through joint research supervision, collaborative funding applications, and the development of interdepartmental and interfaculty courses. -
Create Partnerships with Academic, Clinical, and Industrial Stakeholders
The aim is to facilitate knowledge transfer and stimulate innovation. These partnerships will include hosting emerging companies (startups) within the NeuroBuro, fostering synergy between research and industry. -
Support Interdisciplinary Training
This involves innovative programs such as the B.Sc. in Cognitive Neuroscience and graduate programs in Neuropsychology and Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience. These training programs aim to meet the needs of academia, industry, and the public sector by developing highly qualified researchers and professionals.
