Biography

Élise Charpentier, LL. B. (Sherbrooke), D.S.U. (Paris II), D.E.A. (Paris II) and D.C.L. (McGill), has been a Faculty Professor since 2002. She teaches the basics of private law, securities law, responsibilities and assets law, and has published several important articles on these themes. She regularly speaks at conferences about various aspects of responsibilities and assets law, securities law and international commercial law. She is also a member of the drafting committee for the Revue du Barreau and of the drafting committee for the Private Law Dictionary, published by the Paul-André-Crépeau Centre for Private and Comparative Law at McGill University.
