Research expertise

L’objectif principal de mon programme de recherche est centré sur le développement et la biologie des lymphocytes T. Ces cellules font partie du système immunitaire adaptatif. Elles sont donc impliquées dans la protection de l’hôte du cancer et des infections virales. Ces cellules peuvent, dans certains cas, se retourner contre l’hôte conduisant ainsi à la destruction des tissus/organes et à la mort. Pour ces raisons, nous travaillons sur plusieurs projets visant à stimuler le développement de novo et/ou l’activation des cellules T, et sur ​​la découverte de nouvelles stratégies pour inhiber l’activité des lymphocytes T au cours des maladies auto-immunes ou suite à une transplantation cellulaire ou d’organe.

Les sujets de recherche sont:

  • La stimulation de la thymopoiesis suite à une transplantation de cellules souches
  • L’expansion ex vivo des cellules souches pour transplantation and développement de cellules T
  • L’ingénierie de fusokines
  • La modification génétique des cellules souches mésenchymateuses pour présentation d’antigènes et vaccination
  • Le développement de stratégies pour l’expansion de cellules B régulatrices pour thérapie cellulaire
  • Identification de nouveaux agents immunosuppresseurs pour les lymphocytes T
