Research expertise

Robert-Paul Juster est chercheur en neurosciences. Ses travaux de recherche portent principalement sur l'étude du stress chronique en considérant les effets de genre, de sexe, d'orientation sexuelle et d'identité de genre.

Les intérêts de recherche du Dr Juster incluent l'étude de la charge allostatique, soit une mesure des conséquences à long terme des effets du stress chronique chez les personnes. Dans ses études, il prend en compte les variables liées au genre et au sexe pour identifier les différences et explications possibles. Docteur Juster s'intéresse à la fois aux déterminants biologiques et sociaux du stress chronique. En plus d'être chercheur, il est directeur et fondateur du Centre d’études sur le sexe*genre, l'allostasie, et la résilience (CESAR).
