Biography
Dre Denis-Robichaud est professeure adjointe à l'Université de Montréal. Elle est spécialiste en médecine vétérinaire préventive (Diplomate de l'American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine) depuis 2021 et elle a été consultante-chercheuse indépendante pendant près de 10 ans avant de joindre l'équipe professorale de la faculté de médecine vétérinaire.

Titre : Impact des technologies dans les fermes laitières
En bref
Plusieurs technologies sont utilisées dans les fermes laitières pour supporter la gestion, améliorer la productivité et la santé des troupeaux et pour diminuer la charge de travail des producteur·trices laitiers. Cette ‘agriculture intelligente’ est en pleine expansion et les technologies disponibles pour les producteur·trices laitiers sont multiples. Globalement, le but de ce projet est d’aborder les technologies à la ferme en considérant l’interconnexion entre la santé des vaches et des producteur·trices (approche ‘Une Seule Santé’). Pour ce projet, nous allons développer et déployer un sondage canadien évaluant l’utilisation des technologies dans les fermes laitières, la reproduction et la santé des vaches et la qualité de vie professionnelle des producteur·trices. Ensuite, nous réaliserons une étude qualitative québécoise explorant l’utilisation des différents outils technologiques et les défis qui y sont associés. Dans un contexte où une approche responsable de l’innovation est réclamée par plusieurs, les résultats obtenus par ces études seront utiles pour comprendre l’impact de l’agriculture intelligente sur les différentes santés. De plus, la perspective des producteur·trices obtenue par ce projet pourra guider l’utilisation des données générées par les différentes technologies afin de développer des modèles d’apprentissage automatique supportant les prises de décisions liées à la fertilité et à la santé des vaches laitières.
