Research expertise

Travailleuse sociale de formation, j’ai une expérience clinique dans les services d'urgences pédiatriques.  Mes recherches sont axées essentiellement sur les enjeux éthiques et sociaux touchant les jeunes vivant avec des maladies chroniques ou des troubles de développement, leurs proches et les professionnels de la santé et de services sociaux.  Mon programme de recherche vise à lier le développement de la théorie du travail social et des meilleures pratiques à l'éthique pragmatique. En pratique, en enseignement et en recherche, je privilégie une approche collaborative, participative et réflexive qui s'aligne avec les théories du travail social, axées sur la croissance et préoccupées par l'impact de l'environnement social sur le bien-être.
