Les recherches actuelles d'Anita Koushik portent sur la compréhension de l'étiologie et de la survie du cancer. Son programme de recherche se concentre sur le cancer de l'ovaire, à partir de deux études, dont une étude cas-témoins ainsi qu'une étude de cohorte de survivants.
Biography
Anita Koushik est actuellement professeure titulaire à l'Université de Montréal (Département de médecine sociale et préventive) et chercheure au Centre de recherche du CHUM (CRCHUM). Elle a obtenu un baccalauréat ès sciences en pharmacologie de l'Université de l'Alberta, une maîtrise en santé communautaire et épidémiologie de l'Université Queen’s et un doctorat en épidémiologie et biostatistique de l'Université McGill. Elle a effectué sa formation postdoctorale au Département de nutrition à la Harvard School of Public Health. Ses recherches actuelles sont axées sur la compréhension de l'influence des facteurs liés au mode de vie sur l'étiologie et la survie du cancer.
