Expertise de recherche
Dre Morgan Craig est chercheuse au Centre de recherche du CHU Sainte-Justine et professeure agrégée au Département de mathématiques et de statistique de l'Université de Montréal. Son laboratoire (le Laboratoire de médecine quantitative et translationnelle) étudie comment le système immunitaire répond aux menaces et comment les différences entre les individus affectent ces réponses. Pour ce faire, elle élabore des modèles mathématiques et informatiques prédictifs et mécanistes pour étudier la progression et le traitement du cancer et des maladies infectieuses virales sous l'angle de l'immunité. Dans son travail et grâce à une recherche hautement multidisciplinaire menée en étroite collaboration avec des expérimentateurs et des cliniciens, la Dre Craig utilise des essais cliniques in silico et des cohortes de patients virtuels pour améliorer concrètement les schémas thérapeutiques et les résultats pour les patients.
