Research expertise
Dr Francis Beaudry is an Associate Professor at the veterinary biomedicine department of the Faculty of veterinary medicine of the Université de Montréal. He is an adjunct researcher at the Université de Montréal Hospital Research Centre (CRCHUM). Additionally, he has held leadership positions in bioanalysis within pharmaceutical companies prior his tenure at Université de Montréal. Combined, Dr Beaudry has 24 years of experience in mass spectrometry and bioanalysis. Dr Beaudry research is funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
Biography
LePr Francis Beaudry a obtenu un baccalauréat en chimie (Université de Sherbrooke) et un doctorat en chimie médicinale (Anglia Ruskin University). Il a poursuivi ses travaux de recherche sur le traitement pharmacologique de la douleur dans le laboratoire du Pr Pascal Vachon. Le Pr Beaudry est entré en fonction le 1er juin 2009 à titre de professeur adjoint au département de biomédecine vétérinaire de l'Université de Montréal, promu au rang de professeur agrégé le 1er juin 2014 et au rang de professeur titulaire le 1er juin 2020. Le Pr Beaudry a acquis une vaste expérience dans le domaine de la pharmacocinétique, du métabolisme des médicaments, de la spectrométrie de masse et de la bioanalyse. Le Pr Beaudry est l'auteur ou le coauteur de 141 publications dans des journaux scientifiques à comité de lecture et de 119 affiches présentées lors de congrès scientifiques nationaux et internationaux depuis le début de sa carrière scientifique.
